You can't be mad if there are kids that are faster and better than you. There will always be someone younger and better. And even though they are better than you and supremely obnoxious about it, you still have to yield to them.

Falling isn't failing. BUT... if you fall because of the same mistake, it's time to make a new game plan.

First day skiing, testing out the bunny slopes!

Such a beautiful self-portrait. I was smiling for real, though, because I made it all the way down the green slopes by myself!

I really thought I would gravitate toward the whole "hanging out in the lodge" part of skiing. The days went so fast, I really only had time for a couple of quick drinks. This hot chocolate wasn't even spiked. Sigh. 

Brendon's and my one ski run together. He was very proud.
